Hi, We have tickets to the Halloween party in September. We are spending most of that day at the resort so we won't use a park ticket that day. How is the Halloween ticket used? I'm concerned one of our park tickets will be used accidently

    Welcome, Laura!

The past two years, I've been fortunate enough to enjoy Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. It's one of my family's favorite events because we go all out for Halloween, and of course who doesn't want extra Trick or Treat time? I'm excited that you're planning to take part in all the spook-tacular fun too!

The first time we attended, I was concerned about this same thing: worried that when I scanned our bands at the park gates it might accidentally use a park day ticket instead of our Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets. I quickly learned there is no fear in this. There is actually a separate entrance area on the right when you are getting ready to enter that is only accessible to those with party tickets. The scanners will accept only the party tickets on your Magic Band at this entrance, so you won't have to worry about accidentally using a full park day ticket.

So, enjoy a relaxing day at your Walt Disney World Resort and rest up for the late night fun at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Laura! Don't miss the Boo To You Parade. It's my favorite!

    Have fun,

    Marcy
