If both tickets are on my girlfriends phone how do I get mine? Do we get a paper ticket to scan when we enter the park?

Welcome, Fredi! We're so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. You and your girlfriend are in for a magical visit in just a few short days!

There are a few ways you can manage your eTickets before you head in for your park day. If you have a smartphone, the easiest way would be to link the tickets to your phone as well. This is easily done by downloading the Disneyland Mobile App and creating an account for yourself if you don't already have one. When you open the app, both you and your girlfriend will follow the same steps on your phone: tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Tickets & Passes". Your girlfriend will stay here and pull up your ticket, specifically the barcode. You will continue to tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner, where a drop-down menu will appear to "Link Tickets & Passes". From here, you will see the option to "Open Camera" - with just a quick scan of the barcode from your girlfriend's phone, it will be linked to your account. I would recommend linking both tickets as this will give you the capability to book Lightning Lanes together if you have added Multi Pass to your tickets.

If the smartphone option is not available to you, you can still use paper tickets! Your girlfriend would need to pull up the purchase confirmation email she received once the tickets were booked. In the email, there is a button to "Access your eTickets". Both tickets can be scanned directly from this button instead of using the app, or you may print the eTickets and bring them with you to the Main Entrance Gates.

Fredi, you will be strolling down Main Street in no time! If you are celebrating a special occasion, be sure to pick up a complimentary "I'm Celebrating" button available at most retail locations throughout the parks. You will be showered with well wishes, and you never know what kind of pixie dust may follow. Another thing I like to do when I get to the parks is check the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability. Sometimes, I like to be a bit more flexible in my planning and choose not to book dining reservations in advance. This option allows you to see if there is any same-day availability ... and you may be able to snag a hard-to-get table! You can see the availability in the app by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar, selecting "Check Dining Availability", and entering the number of Guests in your party. After this last step, you will see an option pop up on the bottom to "Join a Walk-up List". Tap here to see where there may be some open tables for the day.

Fredi, I'm wishing you a day full of unforgettable memories! If you have any more questions or need a tip or two, we are always happy to help here at planDisney.
