We have tickets to the Early Morning Magic event on Mon, Jan 6th. We are staying off-site and plan to drive to Magic Kingdom that morning. Should we park in the main lot? Will the monorail be running that early? any other arrival tips?

    chEARs Mollie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It looks like you are headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth very soon! I can’t wait for you to experience all the Magic that 2020 has to offer!

Early Morning Magic is one of my favorite VIP events! You get early access to seven iconic Fantasyland attractions as well as a tasty breakfast. I know that my first (and middle, and last!) stop would be Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! After a dip in a honey pot and a ride around the world, you will be more than ready to hit the rest of the Magic Kingdom Park attractions as soon as they open.

Go ahead and park in the main parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park. The Express Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center starts 30 minutes before the earliest Park opening and continues until one hour after Park close. Watercraft transportation usually begins about 45 minutes before Park opening (including Early Morning Magic hours!), and it is my husband’s favorite way to start a Magic Kingdom day. My son’s preferred mode of transportation is the Monorail. Both should work fantastically for you!

Mollie, you can arrive at the far left Touchpoints of Magic Kingdom Park’s Main Entrance as early as 7:30 am. Once you are through, head straight to Fantasyland, where they will let you in at 7:45 am. You might be lucky enough to get a picture on Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle as your background without anybody else in the frame. Another reason to love Early Morning Magic!

I wish you an enchanted vacation ~ Rayna
