Hi Melinda,
I’m sorry to hear you have had to cancel your trip to California this week. We had to cancel a visit to the Disneyland Resort that was scheduled for 2020 so I know that disappointment well!
Melinda, tickets to the
Disneyland Resort in California are not interchangeable with tickets to the
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. They are two completely different systems, so you would not be able to use your Disneyland Tickets at Walt Disney World.
The good news is that even if your Disneyland Tickets are expired, in most cases tickets don’t lose the value you paid for them. So while you may not be able to make it out there this week, it doesn’t mean that you lose out completely on your tickets. When you are ready to reschedule, you’ll need to
call ticketing for the Disneyland Resort. They will take the value paid for your tickets and apply that to the cost of new tickets. Do know, however, you will not receive a refund if the new days chosen to visit are priced lower than what you paid.
I am sorry your vacation won’t be happening this week, Melinda. Hopefully, this eases some concern about losing out on the value of your tickets and you can reschedule your travel to California soon.
