Hello Destiny!
Welcome to planDisney! It isn’t uncommon for some folks to mix up the
Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California with the
Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, so don’t worry, you aren’t alone! I’m planning a trip with my college friend and her family, and she got them mixed up as well.
To be honest, I am shocked that the computer system let you enter the ticket number in the wrong place. Walt
Disney World Tickets and Disneyland Tickets are not interchangeable, and so you shouldn’t be able to use a confirmation number for one location to reserve tickets at the other. I am hopeful that maybe this isn’t actually what happened and hopefully you have gotten it figured out. If you haven’t already, go ahead and try to make Park Pass Reservations for the Walt Disney World Resort and see if the system allows you to.
If your tickets really are mixed up, you will need to call for assistance. I would
call either Disney Ticketing or Tech Support. If they aren’t able to help you, they should be able to redirect you to the right people who can. I find that hold times are the shortest either first thing in the morning when the phone lines open, or later at night before the close. Walt Disney World is open for calls from 7 AM to 9 PM Eastern.
I hope you can get your tickets straightened out quickly, Destiny. Please let us know what additional questions you have as you plan your visit. We love talking Disney and can answer questions such as
dining recommendations, tips and tricks for staying cool, or recommend the most popular attractions for kids! We are here to help!
Have a magical day!
