Heigh-Ho Ashley,
Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with your Walt Disney World ticket inquiry. I think you are asking once I have ordered my tickets, what do I show in order to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park.
I am assuming you have already received an email with your Ticket Confirmation ID number and you have already created a
My Disney Experience account,
linked your Walt Disney World tickets and made your
Disney Park Pass Reservations. So, how do you enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park? Simple, Guests can use a Key to the World Card, create a digital pass with the new Disney Magic Mobile Service or purchase a MagicBand.
A Key to the World Card is a hard ticket Guests can receive prior to entering their first Walt Disney World Theme Park. With your ticket confirmation ID available or email confirmation, make your way to the Guest Relations/Ticket Counter. Here a Cast Member can assign each Guest a Key to the World Card to be used for the entirety of their trip.
The
Disney MagicMobile Service is a new option for Guests who have an Apple or Google Pay enabled Android device. Through the
My Disney Experience mobile app Guests are able to create digital passes for all of their tickets. And no need for each Guest to have a device, all the tickets can be created on one device if necessary.
While the first two options are complimentary the
Disney MagicBand has to be purchased and linked through your My Disney Experience. Each Guest would need their own
MagicBand. MagicBands come in all colors and designs and can be purchased at many of the stores around the Walt Disney World Resort. This band is worn around your wrist and is tapped on the touchpoints at each ticket gate to access your individual ticket.
All of the above choices can be used for access to your Walt Disney World tickets and when capturing
PhotoPass memories or ride photos or accessing virtual queues such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort have the additional amenities of having charging privileges and using them to gain access to their Walt Disney World Resort Room.
I hope this has answered your question and if not please give us the chance to try again. We are here to help you every step of the way so you can have a magical and memorable Walt Disney World vacation.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
