We have tickets to Disney on July 6th we want to go to Magic Kingdom, currently showing no available tickets will things be opening up by then? It’s our sons first trip and we would prefer to take him to Magic Kingdom

    Hi Brian,

Your question reminds me of the very first trip we took with our oldest son. There's nothing more precious than experiencing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort through your child's eyes, and you and your family are going to have an incredible time!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding the Disney Park Pass reservation availability that you'd like. I'd encourage you to at least make sure you have reservations for another park, but then please keep an eye on the availability calendar. Guests' plans do change frequently, and it's always possible that something opens up! If not, though, I assure you that each of the theme parks has attractions and experiences perfect for kiddos, and you'll have a blast wherever you end up. I have five children and if you ask them which theme park is their favorite, you'll hear all four theme parks mentioned! If you have your heart set on Magic Kingdom Park, though, and can't find a reservation, you could always upgrade your tickets to the Park Hopper Option, which would allow you to switch parks at 2:00 PM. You could start your day at one theme park and head over to Magic Kingdom Park for the afternoon and evening. However you choose to spend your day, I hope you create memories you all cherish for a lifetime!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Brian, and please feel free to come see us again if you have any other questions. I hope you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
