We have our tickets, dinning and resort, waiting on tickets for Mickey's not so scary to go on sale. But does anyone have anything that they would recommend doing on the days that we have some extra time due to parks closing early?

    Hi Robert,

Parks closing early? No problem! There is always something to do at the Walt Disney World Resort!

How about dinner in a resort? This is a great way to see another resort and enjoy some of the best restaurants. Some of my family's favorites include Whispering Canyon Café, The Wave or Boma. If you were to go to Boma or any of the other restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can stay and see the animals on the savannah with night vision goggles. It is a cool experience.

Also, most resorts offer Movies Under the Stars. You can hang out at your resort and enjoy a movie on the big screen. Some resorts even have it near the pool so you can swim and watch a movie. Speaking of resorts, you can always take advantage of the activities at your resort.

Do you want something special? How about Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil to fill an evening? Also, there is Disney Springs to have a great night dining and shopping.

You can also tour parks that have later hours if you want to avoid the park closing early. I will say it is sometimes nice to come home and relax so you can tour early the next day.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
