Hi there, Solomon!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for coming to us with your question. I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't able to make your original reservation date that that you were "unavoidably detained by pranky spirits." Hopefully you're able to re-schedule your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
You may absolutely re-schedule your ticket reservation to another date. If you happen to miss your reservation without cancelling it, your ticket will still remain valid. If you know ahead of time that you aren't able to make your reservation, it's always nice to cancel in order to free it up for another Guest. To cancel your current reservation, log in to your
Disneyland account and navigate to the
Tickets and Reservations page. Select "Make Park Reservations" and click "Cancel Reservation" for the appropriate date. Once you have freed up your reservation, you may then proceed to select the new dates for your visit and secure your reservations. If you have a
Special Southern California Resident Ticket or a one day lower
Tier Ticket, you might be more limited on the days you may select. As long as your ticket has not been activated, it will be good as long as the expiration date has not yet passed. Thankfully, tickets generally have very long shelf lives.
I hope that answers your question, Solomon. I certainly hope that you are able to visit the Disneyland Resort this year at some point. The
Disney100 Celebration will be running all year and we've got new
attractions and
foods to discover! The Disney Parks Blog also just released the
Foodie Guide to the
Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure and I hear a Pineapple-coconut Churro called my name!
Feel free to visit us again at planDisney for any more tips and advice you might need, Solomon! We're here to help.
See Ya Real Soon!
