    I will have tickets the day after we arrive. Are we allowed to take a ride share to the Contemporary or other resort the night we arrive to eat at a quick service restaurant and watch fireworks? We will have no car. Some forums say we could be turned away.

    I think you've planned a perfect way to spend your first day at Walt Disney World. Our family loves to tour other resorts, take in the atmosphere, and find a snack or two to treat ourselves!

    Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great place to start off your resort tour. The Contempo Cafe, located on the Grand Canyon Concourse, is a wonderful location to grab a bite to eat and sit and enjoy the ambiance of the resort. When you arrive at the resort, the front gate may ask your destination. Just let them know you're heading up to the cafe, and you should have no problems at all!

    As you sit in the concourse, watching the Monorail go by, you may be inspired to extend your resort visit. The complimentary Disney Monorail service can whisk you away to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (for a taste of the Hawaiian Islands try Capt. Cook's quick service restaurant) or travel over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, where you'll experience breathtaking elegance and luxury.
