My family and I love the unique experiences available at these events, especially opportunities to meet with rarely-seen characters. Other exclusive entertainment options are a must, of course. And it doesn't hurt that attraction wait times are often shorter during After Dark events too!During the process of purchasing regular theme park tickets, there is usually an option to also purchase a standard theme park parking voucher. As you've discovered, that option is not a part of the normal process of purchasing special event tickets. But as Timon and Pumbaa say, "Hakuna matata!" It means, "No worries!" That's because you can find the place to pre-purchase theme park parking from a few other places. Under the "Tickets & Parks" menu of the main Disneyland Resort website, hunt for "Buy Theme Park Parking" within the "Tickets & Passes" group. You can also use the "Purchase Now" button found on the Parking at the Disneyland Resort information page.Theme park parking vouchers may be redeemed at either of the parking structures (Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals) or at the Toy Story Parking Area, subject to availability. Vouchers may only be used for standard parking. So if you wish to purchase preferred parking or have an oversized vehicle, I recommend waiting to pay for your parking when you arrive at the structure or lot.Note that theme park parking vouchers are non-refundable. Theme park parking is the same price whether purchasing a voucher in advance or purchasing in-person at the parking entrance. An exception to that is for select Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders who may be able to purchase parking at a discount on non-blockout days when purchasing in person. Since prices are the same or better when purchasing parking in-person, it may be worth considering waiting until you arrive at the Disneyland Resort to make your purchase. However, if you simply prefer having everything settled and ready for a smooth experience on the night of your visit, purchasing parking in advance can be a great part of a bibbidi-bobbidi-beautiful blueprint for a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth!Tony's Tip: You never know if there is going to be an alternate traffic pattern set in place ahead of big events at or near the Disneyland Resort. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time before Disneyland After Dark to find available parking and arrive at the park without feeling rushed. Unless you are particularly interested in any event-exclusive dining options that may be offered, I also recommend enjoying a meal before the event begins. For example, you can take advantage of the complimentary 3 hours of pre-party park time that comes with your Disneyland After Dark ticket to find a quick service restaurant that interests you and place a mobile food and beverage order.Have a most magical time, Clifford!~Tony
