I have a ticket from 2007 that I never used. Is there a way to see if it’s still valid? I’ve seen online that people have been credited for unused tickets so I thought I’d ask to see.

    Hi Jillianne! Welcome to planDisney!

I bet you're getting excited just thinking about already having valid tickets for your next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!  Check that one thing off of your list and start planning the rest of what is sure to be a memorable and magical vacation! This year, there are so many new and exciting happenings around the Resort that you just have to try to get down to Walt Disney World Resort and see them! Between new attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and new nighttime shows like Disney Enchantment you certainly won't run out of new things to see and do!

If your Theme Park Ticket from 2007 has never been touched by one of Disney's magical turnstiles you just might be in luck! The ticket may still be valid, or at least you may be able to apply the value of that ticket toward the purchase of a new, valid ticket for the future.

To check the validity of your ticket, I would start by checking to see if that ticket has an expiration date.  Some tickets used to be sold with a "no expiration option" and you might be able to find that right on your ticket.  If not, head on over to your My Disney Experience account and log in.  Here, you may be able to still see your old ticket if it was previously linked to your same account.

If these two options put you at a dead-end, have no fear! Walt Disney World Cast Members can come to the rescue during a simple phone call.  Feel free to call the Existing Tickets line at (407) 934-7639 and discuss your specific situation.  They may be able to pull up your ticket and see whether it is still valid or not and give your some advice about how to use it, or at least the value of it, on a future trip to the Resort.

I hope this helps, Jillianne! Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions!
