Hi there, Kathleen! I'm so excited to see a fellow Guest from my home state of Washington, so thanks for dropping by planDisney.
It sounds like you have already done the first few important steps in planning your Disneyland Resort vacation. Currently, both
valid admission and a theme park reservation are required for each Guest to visit the Disneyland Resort. However, I know how important it is to have flexibility in your vacation plans, so it is no trouble to reschedule those theme park reservations for a time that works better for your travel party! I'll be happy to share how to do this.
First, I suggest checking the expiration date listed underneath the barcode or QR code you received in your eTicket confirmation sent to your email address. If you've already linked these tickets within the
Disneyland mobile app, you'll also be able to locate the corresponding expiration dates in the "My Tickets and Passes" section. Even if you find that you need additional time to plan your next trip, it may be possible to request that the value you paid for your original ticket be applied to a new ticket purchase of equal or greater value, which would likely extend the expiration date. You can call and speak with a Cast Member in Guest Services about this option using the
Tickets line.
Now, let's talk about modifying your theme park reservations for a new date. You can do this online under the "
My Plans" page, where you should see any currently held reservations displayed. From there, you'll be able to view the option to cancel or modify your date(s) and then follow the prompts to do so. If you want to browse the reservation availability before you make these changes, you can always review the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar ahead of time.
I hope this is a helpful start, Kathleen! Please don't hesitate to come back to
planDisney if we can share any other recommendations with you. In the meantime, I'll be sending you blue skies and sunshine!
Magic awaits,
Tishra
