    Hello we are planning on going to Disney this year but are unsure about the dates. If we purchase tickets online do we have to go on the dates chosen? Or are we able to change our mind later?

    Hi there, Diana, so glad to see you found us here at planDisney!

    I understand the importance of flexibility, and like Mrs. Incredible, I know a little stretch can go a long way! Plans do change and it sounds like you're interested in rescheduling dates for a visit to the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to share information on ticket purchases and reservations.

    At the time of purchase, you selected the reservation dates for single or multi-day visits. However, if the dates do not work out anymore, reservations can be rescheduled through the Disneyland app or on the website. Log into your Disney account on the Disneyland app or the website. Make sure to check the park ticket availability calendar to ensure the dates you want are available.

    • In the app on the home page under "Upcoming Plans" any linked park reservations will populate. Click the reservation and it opens a browser window to log in and take you to the reservation page to modify theme reservations. 
    • On the website, go to "My Disneyland" then "My Plans" where you can see"Modify Reservations." From there you can make any modifications to your reservations.

    Whenever you end up visiting, Diana, I hope that it's a magical time! There are many things in store for 2024, and an arrival in May means you can experience Star Wars Season of the Force and Pixar Fest! I'm pretty excited about the Season of the Force Foodie Guide! And, if you head out west later in the year, you may catch Tiana's Bayou Adventure when it opens. We don't have any specific dates yet though, but I'm keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog, and you should too, because I can't wait to experience this attraction.
