Hello Andrew!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Those are
great ages to bring little ones to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. They are just at what I call the “magic age” where they are familiar with the characters and stories, and old enough to be amazed by the wonder and enchantment of the Walt Disney World Resort.
The pricing structure at the Walt Disney World Resort is set up so that less popular vacation days are priced at a lower rate than more popular days. Tickets are also designed so that the longer you visit, the lower the per day admission cost is. For example, the lowest price single day youth ticket in January of 2020 is currently $104 plus tax, but if you stay and visit longer, a 5-Day ticket can be as low as $83 plus tax per day! The more you play, the less you pay per day! Because the price varies based on when and how long you visit, I can't give you an exact price here, but you can use
Disney’s Theme Park Ticket Page to calculate a price based on your specific needs. Once you choose your length of ticket, you can use the calendar to choose your dates. Once you choose a date and scroll down the page, you can select to add youth tickets and view the pricing on those as well as adult tickets.
For a Walt Disney World Resort that is both fun and budget-friendly, look no further than Disney’s Value Resorts. For little ones, I recommend
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. With larger than life theming of classic Disney movies, your little Disney fan will love this resort. When we stayed at this resort, we were lucky enough to end up in the Toy Story section and my boys were in awe of the two-story Buzz Lightyear near our room. You’ll find a beautiful pool, a delightfully delicious food court, and
all the benefits of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Also in the value range, is
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This resort, themed to the later decades of the 20th century, is along the new
Disney Skyway. Walk from your room to the Skyway Station, and in no time you’ll be flying high above the resort in a gondola on your way to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
I hope this helps get you started on your planning, Andrew. We are here to help, so please feel free to send more questions as you get ready for your visit. We love talking Disney!
