What if my ticket is my name but shortened to my nickname

    Hi Shanell,

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! I'd love to put your mind at ease a bit and tell you, "Hakuna Matata!" No worries! My name, Missy, is actually a nickname for Melissa. My grandma started calling me Missy when I was a baby and wouldn't stop. I'm still going by that nickname decades later! Through the years, some of my tickets have used my legal name while some have used my commonly used name, and I've never had any trouble entering theme parks or paying for food or merchandise or anything else. I think you'll be just fine having your nickname on your ticket. If there ever would be a question, I'm confident that a friendly Cast Member will get everything all squared away for you. Disneyland Resort is a place of magic and wonder and lots and lots of fun, so rest assured that all will be fine with your ticket. I'm sending pixie dust that your visit is truly amazing!

Thanks again for coming to see us here at planDisney, Shanell, and don't hesitate to drop by any time you have a Disney-planning question. We're always here and happy to help!
