If I have a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but don't plan to purchase a park ticket that day, can I still enter the virtual queue for Tron?

Hi Annamarie and welcome to planDisney!

Christmastime is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World!  There is nothing better than walking down Main Street U.S.A. with a cup of hot cocoa under the festive garland and wreaths with a view of Cinderella Castle in the distance.  I am really looking forward to my holiday visit coming up!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World.  Guests can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM with a party ticket even though the party doesn't officially start until 7:00 PM.  On evenings when there is a party going on, the virtual queue opens at 6:00 PM for party guests.  This will be your only opportunity to obtain a boarding group for TRON Lightcycle / Run for the evening.  Once your boarding group is called, head over to the attraction in Tomorrowland for your turn to enter the grid!

How exciting that your vacation is coming up at the end of this month!  EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will be in full swing by then with all of the delicious offerings at the Holiday Kitchens.  My family looks forward to the Holiday Cookie Stroll every year and it looks like this year has some new cookies!

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
