We have ticket to Mickey's Halloween party and would really like to have costumes for the kids to wear however since it is still only August no stores are carrying costumes . Are there stores in Disney where we can buy their customes. Thanks.

There are some costumes for sale at WDW. You don't say how old your children are, so I will tell you that the sizes are somewhat limited; most of the costumes are available in sizes that would fit children from about age 3 to about age 10. If your kids are younger or older than this, or if they are particularly tall, you might want to look elsewhere. The choices of costumes are also restricted (obviously) to Disney characters and the options for boys are particularly slim. Another thing to consider is that the Disney costumes are fairly expensive.

Are you sure that the costume options near you are limited? The party supply stores in my area started putting out their Halloween costumes about a week ago.

Earlier this week my oldest daughter and I brainstormed our costumes for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. Part of our costumes are on the way to our house from buycostumes.com. This is an online costume vendor that I have used several times with much success. There are also MANY other online costume sites out there that would give you more options than are available at WDW.
