Hi, I have ticket from last year. I didn’t use it and I wanna use it this year. what I have to do

Hi Ferooz! Welcome to planDisney. I’m happy to help you figure out what to do with your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket from last year.

While theme park tickets are non-refundable, here’s the good news: most standard tickets are valid for 16 months from the date of purchase. That gives you a generous window to reschedule your trip when the time feels right. To confirm the exact expiration date of your ticket, check the original confirmation email or open the Disneyland app. Just tap the ☰ icon in the lower right corner and select “Tickets and Passes” to view your ticket details.

And if life throws another curveball and your ticket expires unused, don’t worry. You can apply the value of a wholly unused, expired ticket toward the purchase of a new one of equal or greater value. This bit of flexibility can be a real lifesaver when plans shift unexpectedly. If you’re unsure what your next step should be, I recommend contacting the Disneyland Tickets line directly. A helpful Cast Member can assist in reviewing your ticket status and walk you through your options.

Now, if you’re thinking of planning your return trip soon, you couldn’t have picked a more exciting time. The Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary this summer, and the magic is bigger than ever! You’ll find beloved entertainment returning across both parks. Paint the Night sparkles its way down Main Street and Wondrous Journeys transforms the skies with heartwarming storytelling and fireworks.

And that’s not all! Over at “it’s a small world,” the nighttime projection show A Tapestry of Happiness paints the façade with colorful tributes to attractions from around Disneyland. Meanwhile, in Disney California Adventure, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! has the whole park dancing, and World of Color Happiness! brings the water to life in an unforgettable nighttime spectacular.

I hope this info brings you peace of mind, Ferooz…and maybe a little excitement, too. When you’re ready to plan your next magical visit, we’re always here at planDisney to help every step of the way.

Wishing you comfort, clarity, and just the right sprinkle of pixie dust,

    David
