Hi Shaundell! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
When currently visiting Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California with a
standard admission ticket, the names on the tickets won't matter. While an adult needs to use an adult ticket, the name won't be checked. It's only with tickets that require a government-issued photo ID for purchase and use that the names need to be in order. So, the good news is if that didn't apply to your purchase, you don't need to worry about the goof with the names. You just need a valid admission ticket and a
theme park reservation for entry.
Mistakes happen, and this one isn't a big one at all! I hope that gives you peace of mind. Just make sure the adults in the group scan into the parks with adult tickets. They won't be able to enter on a child's ticket. When you scan in for the first time, the helpful Cast Member will take a quick picture of your face, which will link the Guest to the ticket for the rest of the trip. That photo is the important identifying factor rather than the name.
However, if it really bothers you, you're free to call the
Tickets phone line. Changing the names on tickets isn't something you can do yourself, but a friendly Cast Member can make that adjustment. It's just not necessary unless you deem it to be so. In a different situation where the name needed to match, I had to reassign a ticket and they were super helpful about it. They're always happy to assist in whatever way they can, so your trip is as easy and worry-free as possible.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
