Hiya Angela!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your theme park ticket question. Oh, my goodness—can you believe your magical adventure is just around the riverbend? How lucky are we to live in the Sunshine State, where pixie dust is practically in our backyard!
Now, let’s get right to your question! If you have a standard theme park ticket or a Park Hopper ticket (not a Florida Resident ticket, since those require a valid Florida ID at entry), and it hasn't been used yet, you're in luck! You can absolutely reassign that ticket to another member of your travel party.
Here’s how to do it using your My Disney Experience app:
- Make sure the family member is added to your Friends & Family list in the app.
- Head to My Tickets & Passes.
- Scroll to the ticket you'd like to transfer and select Reassign Ticket at the bottom.
- Choose the lucky recipient from your list and bibbidi bobbidi boo—it’s transferred!
Just a little reminder: if that ticket has already been used, even for one day, it can no longer be reassigned.
If you run into any trouble while trying to transfer an unused ticket, no worries at all—just call a friendly Cast Member under
Hotel Reservations and Tickets, and they’ll help.
Oh! And while you're visiting, don't miss the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! The topiaries are truly enchanted, and you have to check out the stunning new Moana and Maui display at the entrance—it’s so beautiful!
Angela, I hope this helps make your planning a little easier. If you have any more questions as you prepare for your trip, feel free to stop by again.
See ya real soon!
