LeighAnne,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Every Disney vacation is a memorable experience, filled with dining, entertainment, and attraction fun. However, it is likely that your
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night may very well be the highlight of your trip! Disney has created an atmosphere that can be both spooky and fun, all at the same time.
Unfortunately no, even though you have a meal reservation at 3:15 p.m. at
Be Our Guest Restaurant, if you plan to enter the park with your special event Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket, and not a normal theme park admission, you will not be able to enter. If you go to the turnstiles and scan in before 4 p.m., the system will assume you are using a theme park admission, and I would guess that you would not want that to happen.
Your best bet is to try to push that reservation out by an hour, if possible. Otherwise, my advice would be to cancel that reservation and choose other dining plans. On a personal note, I will let you know that when my family goes to the party, or
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we opt to dine at counter service restaurants using
Mobile Online Ordering. We don't want to spend time at a table when we could be taking in all the special event fun, or trick-or-treating!
HALLOWEEN BONUS TIP #1Check out the Disney Parks Blog for more on some of the fun that is in store for you at the Halloween Party. They even have a post with some great
costume planning tips from the planDisney crew.
HALLOWEEN BONUS TIP #2Many Halloween Party guests love their costumes but forget that they are in Orlando at a time when it is warmer than the Fall temperatures they may enjoy back home. Choose a costume that gives you and your family some layers that can be removed if the heat and humidity rise more than expected.
