Welcome to planDisney, Abhishek!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
How very kind of your family member to give you the gift of magic! Your future Walt Disney World Resort vacation is going to be full of wonder and excitement as you embark on adventures that bring your favorite stories to life.
First and foremost, I have great news for you. As long as your Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets have remained unused, they will keep their value, and you can apply it towards new tickets if they expire.
Typically, if your tickets were partially used, they could not be transferred to anyone else, and the remaining days on the tickets tend to expire within a few days.
There are a few ways to check if your theme park tickets are valid. If you have physical tickets, they should list their expiration date. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who told me your best bet would be for you to contact the
Existing Tickets team with the confirmation numbers or the ticket numbers, and they’ll be happy to check on the tickets for you.
Abhishek, I recommend
staying at a Disney Resort hotel during your vacation. Not only are you closer to the theme parks, but with complimentary transportation from your Disney Resort hotel and the theme parks, it makes staying in the magic so convenient. Not to mention wonderful perks like
Early Theme Park Entry, which allows Guests of Disney Resort hotels to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than regular operating hours. With friendly Cast Members and unique theming, when you leave the parks, you don’t feel like you’re leaving the magic!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Abhishek!
