Hello Roberta,
We are as happy as can be to see you here at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your questions about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. I’m sorry that you were unable to make your visit, but I’m glad that you have a friend who can use them. Sounds like they are the Buzz Lightyear to your Sheriff Woody. That’s one lucky friend!
Roberta, you will be glad to know that in
most cases Walt Disney World continues to honor unexpired, wholly unused tickets. You can modify your wholly unused ticket and apply the purchase price to the
purchase of a new ticket of equal or higher value. You will also pay the additional difference if the new ticket date is an additional cost, and no refund or credit is given if the change you make results in a lower ticket price. You may assign the new ticket to other Guests in your
Family & Friends list in your
My Disney Experience account.
To modify your ticket, simply head to the Walt Disney World website, and under the My Disney Experience tab, log in to your My Disney Experience account and select “My Plans.” Select the tickets you need to modify to select a new date for your visit and then follow the prompts, including which Guest the
ticket should be assigned to from your Family & Friends list. If you need to add your friend to that list, simply
follow these directions. If you have any trouble, you can reach out to one of the friendly Cast members at the
Existing Tickets phone line.
Now, all this talk about friends has me thinking about
Roundup Rodeo BBQ in
Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Andy has gathered all the toys to welcome Guests to a boot-scootin’ party. Tell your pal to make sure to save room for dessert, because the Cupcake à la Forky is worth it!
Roberta, I hope your friend has a magical visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by to visit us here at planDisney any time.
As our pal Woody likes to say, you’ve got a friend in me!
Shannon
