Thx so much for the tips. I like the idea of Artist's Point for a great meal as my dad's a bit of a foodie. He also loves a good glass of wine. I know Boma has a great South african wine list but where else can I find him some fun and exotic wines to try?

    Allison,

As it happens, Walt Disney World employs more sommeliers than any other single location in the world! So there is great wine to be found at a lot of different places. Obviously you have heard about the amazing array of South African wines at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. But that list is more prevalent at their fine-dining restaurant, Jiko, as opposed to Boma (allegedly the largest S. African wine list outside of that country, with many by the glass!).

The Wave, which recently opened up at the Contemporary Resort, focuses on wines from the Southern Hemisphere, as well as those that come in twist tops, a very hip trend with wine makers around the world. They particularly have a lot of great white wines, as well as some interesting reds too. He can actually look at the wine lists online at the link that I provided above.

Another new restaurant, with a wine list of interest, is Sanaa. This largely Indian-themed restaurant is reputed to have an interesting list too, thought I have not been there myself.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
