Thx for all the recs! On DDP, what do you suggest for snacks? Use as breakfast, or get GardenGrocer so we can partake of great goodies? Will be there for start of Food & Wine, see you will be too, hope I see you to say thanks in person!

    Katie from UT!

Great to hear from you again!

Snacks are a hard call. Certainly using your snack credits for breakfast is a great money saving idea. But my family gets by with a few dining reservations and a lot of breakfast bars for the first meal of the day. We do that so that we can feel like we 'splurge' when we use the snack credits for something sweet in the parks.

As you are an admitted lover of the Food and Wine festival, I would suggest to you that you save your snacks for in-park treats, whether they are sweet or savory. As for breakfast, either ship ahead breakfast staples to your resort (cereals, breakfast bars, pop tarts, etc.) and augment that with some milk from the resort quick service restaurant, or try out the great delivery service from Garden Grocer for some more complete morning meals.

Some snack favorites of mine include:

    • DoleWhip
    • Mickey Bars
    • Butterfinger Cupcake
    • Fresh Fruit
Really you are good either way, but I like to use the snacks for some sweet indulgence!

And you BETTER say hi if you see me and my family in the parks! It would hurt my feelings otherwise!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
