Christopher,
Thanks for writing back, I LOVE talking about dining!
My family tries to limit our plans to no more than one table service dining experience per day, and we will even have some days with nothing but counter service dining. It gives us more time in our day to do other things. So, what are the meals that might be high on your priority list?
Because you are going to be in EPCOT twice, and you mentioned being fans of Frozen, I think that the
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a good choice. Your kids will love the chance to dine in Arendelle, and I have always enjoyed the food. It will also give you an iconic dining experience with the Princesses that will endure in their memories long after you have returned home. If that does not seem like something you are interested in, another great choice would be
Via Napoli. That is our family’s go-to dinner in EPCOT.
For a second planned dinner, you have so many choices, but I would recommend trying either
‘Ohana or
50's Prime Time Café.
As for my favorite quick service selections, by park, here are my suggestions.
Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café
EPCOT: Tangierine Café or Connections Eatery (if you think the Tangierine Cafe is too exotic for your youngsters)
Hollywood Studios: Woody's Lunch Box
Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue
Finally, you asked about the fireworks parties. With teenagers, we don’t do them much anymore, as the girls prefer to explore during the show. But with little kids it can be hard to find a place for them to get a good view. If it is in your budget, I think one of these would be an excellent choice for you. Maybe even in place of one of those table service meals.
Hope this helps and, by all means,
keep those questions coming!
Have a Magical (and delicious) Vacation!Doug
