Thx for last answer, 1 more-if I have a pkg and free dining is offered during but not starting w/my 1st day, do I need to chg to 2 separate res or can I get the dining when it does start? Love this panel for years, thank you!

Hi, Marianne, and thanks so much for your question!  If you plan to be in Walt Disney World for a free dining offer, but you arrive before the offer goes into effect, you will need to book two separate reservations.  In most cases, you won't even be required to change rooms, so it's really very easy to manage while you are there.

The only thing I will caution is something my own family members ask all the time.  Say you plan to arrive on Friday, but free dining doesn't begin until Sunday.  You are usually required to purchase theme park tickets as part of your package to get the free dining.  Unfortunately, even though you will be there on Friday, you cannot gain access to the tickets that are part of your package until your check in date for the package.  That may mean having to purchase additional theme park tickets for the start of your trip, or planning your theme park days off at the start of your vacation.

I hope this helps!  Thanks again for your question!
