    Thx so much for all your help loved the WDW Today podcast. After the wedding the rest of the family leaves (except for the bride and groom) I'm hoping to be on my own for about a week. Dining suggs for an adventurous solo diner?

    Allison,

    I have traveled alone to Walt Disney World many times, and here are a few of my favorite solo meals;

    I just tried Saana at the new Animal Kingdom Villas. This scenic restaurant fuses African and Indian cuisines, and is fabulous! The bread sampler and appetizer sampler are both great choices. Intended for two, they are a great meal for one. The savannah viewing is a nice perk to the experience as well.

    Kimonos in the Swan is a wonderful place to go for sushi and to watch karaoke! Il Mulino, also in the Swan, is a unique and upscale Italian experience. Todd English's bluezoo at the Dolphin is a trendy good time.

    Dining at the bar in California Grill in the Contemporary Resort can be expensive, but well worth it.

    At Downtown Disney I like Raglan Road, House of Blues, and Bongos both for food and evening entertainment.

    Finally, you have the Epcot World Showcase. Interesting cuisines, both at the table service restaurants, or dining al fresco by sampling counter service choices. A few are not ideal by yourself (Akershus, Biergarten, Teppan Edo), but otherwise this is a great evening.

    Have a magical vacation!
