Thx Doug! only having short visit, planning for 9/2010. hoping to get ddp, is it a mistake to only make adr's at crt an cm? I don't want to have too many sit downs, but also hate to be shut out if we decide different.

    Victoria,

I think that you should get and Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for every table service meal that you intend to have. With the recent trend of Disney offering free Disney Dining Plan in the September time frame, you will have more people making more ADRs for more meals. That means you want to make as many as you can, to ensure you don't get shut out, just like you said.

As to the question that many ask about getting a couple ADRs at different restaurants for the same night; while feasible, I think that is inconsiderate of other guests who may get shut out of an otherwise available meal, so I recommend against it. I know that is not what you were asking, but I always feel like it bears repeating.

If you are looking for any other dining suggestions (I love the two you mention!), please feel free to ask!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
