We are thrilled to take DDs 5 & 2 to WDW. staying @WL and traveling to MK on 2/19 for early ressie @BBB at 8:00 and CP at 8:05 on 2/20. What time should we arrive @MK & how should we get there? We will have a car but would the boats be a better opt

    Kaylene,

It is not certain that the boats will start running early enough for you to make an 8 am reservation. The park opens at 9 am that morning, and officially the boats start an hour before opening. That would have to be a really fast ride to work out!

However Disney does help people get to their early dining reservations typically. What you should do is speak to the transportation desk at your hotel when you arrive to confirm if they can help you out. They will know of any transportation options that can be arranged to expedite your travel.

The reason why the options they may be able to offer might be better than driving yourself over is that the parking at the Magic Kingdom is a boat or monorail ride away from the park, so driving over may be as problematic for getting there on time. And they will know if the boats are going to start running early enough for you to use them as regular.

But if they don't seem to have any answers, then driving will be your surest plan. Boats would be easier and nicer, but you run the risk of missing your reservations.

    Have a magical vacation!
