Hey there, Shearin! Discussions about a
Walt Disney World vacation in my house always start with the
dining experiences. This is a conversation right up my alley.
The
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is the most extensive of all of the dining plans offered. The three meals offered on the plan are your choice of table service dining experiences or quick service meals. You'll get three meals and two snacks per person, per night of your stay. You'll also notice that with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, your lunch and dinner table service meals include an appetizer, entree, AND dessert. The standard
Disney Dining Plan, just to compare, includes your entree and dessert.
I know many people who won't visit Walt Disney World without the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. They like having all of their meals paid for in advance, and they love the option of having all table service meals when they go to the theme parks. It forces them to slow down and enjoy time together as a family. On the flip side, this can be a lot of food for some people. I have one friend who purchases the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan every trip, but brings along an extra bag. At the end of the vacation, she uses all the unused snack credits to grab snacks for her kids for lunches when they get home - and she usually has a whole bunch!
Have fun planning your magical vacation, Shearin!
