Decisions, decisions! I know that my girls, who are ages 17, 7 and 3 all LOVE the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue! They also really enjoy the luau, which makes this a tough question!
I think the Hoop Dee Doo is classic, vaudevillian type comedy that all kids really love. The meal that you have there is also very kid friendly, featuring fried chicken, ribs, and a yummy strawberry shortcake dessert! It's also cool to take the boat over there - my girls love that.
The Spirit of Aloha luau also features chicken and ribs, but with more of a tropical flavor. Kids can have mac and cheese and chicken nuggets instead. The show there is just a feast for the eyes, with the beautiful colors and traditions of the Polynesian culture. There's also a little dancing to the very kid friendly Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride song from the Lilo and Stitch movie.
If I asked my girls to choose between the two, they might give me different answers on different days, but they will all consistently come back to the Hoop Dee Doo. It's fun, it's funny, and my girls love fried chicken!
