Hiya Emily - welcome to
planDisney!
Isn't it great that there are some Pluto-friendly accommodations available at the Walt Disney World Resort? I can't wait for our next driving trip so our two pups can join in and get a little taste of the magic! We'll probably be staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort too but in a cabin.
So, Emily, I've found some conflicting information, just like you did! The Pet Policy at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that are pet-friendly states that a maximum of two dogs can stay in each pet-friendly room, which includes The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a bit different because you won't be receiving housekeeping services and will be located on a pet-friendly campsite loop.
I did find official documentation stating that there is a limit of
four dogs per campsite, but I decided to call to confirm. I spoke to a wonderful Cast Member at the Resort who let me know that she believes the limit is two dogs at both the cabins and the campsites. She then added that as long as you are following all of the other rules, including ensuring that the dogs are not disruptive, you should have no trouble bringing an extra pup in your RV.
I'm just the messenger here, Emily, but my takeaway is that up to four dogs per campsite would be allowed. I think there's just a bit of confusion about the general policy that applies to Resort Rooms, which may differ for the campsites. That being said, your mileage may vary and you may want to consider making a backup reservation for one pup at
Best Friends Pet Hotel just in case!
I hope I'm not just adding more to the confusion pile, but I think this information might be helpful to you.
