How far in advance can you book resort reservations for Fort Wilderness (Thanksgiving 2024)?

Hi Pamela. Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort at Thanksgiving! I don't know if I could pick a better time for a vacation at that resort! There is something so very special about Fort Wilderness. While each Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is indeed unique, Fort Wilderness is in a class of its own. I always come back to the recreation activities, dining options, and general vibe of the whole resort. I would absolutely love to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in a cabin at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Be sure to check out Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long while you're visiting. It's such a unique spin on the evening campfire activities at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

Currently, reservations can only be booked through December of 2023. Dates for 2024 have not yet been released, but historically have been released in the spring. Since this isn't a definite timeline, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement of when 2024 dates will go on sale.

While you may not be able to book your holiday vacation at this exact moment, excitement can start to build for your trip by beginning to plan out certain aspects of your vacation. You already know where you are going to stay, but perhaps sit down with your travel party and discuss the restaurants in which you'd like to eat. What rides and attractions do you want to prioritize? And, last, but certainly not least, are you going to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park if it's offered when you are there? For me, the answer to that last question would be an unequivocal and very loud YES! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements related to this whimsical event!

Pamela, I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Feel free to reach out to planDisney again in the future should you have any further questions.

The more you are in a state of gratitude, the more you will attract things to be grateful for,
    Matt
