Three adults are traveling to WDW for the first time ever, and bringing our 5 month old along. Should we bring our infant travel system stroller, rent a stroller, or use a small umbrella one? Can you take them on Disney transportation?

Hey Nathan!  My recommendation is to bring the stroller that your 5 month old will rest the most comfortably in as you enjoy a day at the parks.  I know the infant travel stroller may take a little bit of time to break it down, if that is where your little one will be able to nap, then bring that one.  I'm just not sure how comfortable a 5 month old would be in a rented or umbrella stroller.
And yes, you may take your stroller from home onto WDW transportation.  On the monorail you can normally just roll it on, but on the buses you will need to have the stroller broken down before the bus arrives at your stop.  When mine were that age, I always took my stroller because they "knew" it and would rest like it was a normal day.
Thanks so much for the great question, and I hope you have the most magical WDW vacation.  Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Mom's Panel.
