Three adults and a 2 1/2 YO, I have (2) 4 day passes from 1991- are the passes still valid/ NO expiration listed. Does Port Orleans have connecting rooms? Any suggestions/recommendations I would be grateful for!

Hi, Morgan! I'm so glad you brought your questions to planDisney! We love helping guests plan their next magical vacation!

Let's talk about those tickets! I'm so impressed that you've held on to those for so long! My friend and fellow panelist, Kurt, recently answered a similar question. I love his story and the info, so I'm going to link that answer here. In short, if the tickets have days remaining and no expiration date, they are still valid. How cool is that?

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are sister resorts. While they share several similarities, they are still distinct resorts with their own layout and decor. When staying at one, you can enjoy the amenities of both, and they do have connecting rooms! When making your reservation on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you'll have the opportunity to request connecting rooms. Room requests are never guaranteed, but my experience has always been that Cast Members do their best and are typically able to accommodate me. If you've already made your reservations, call the Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations number and ask the Cast Member to make the note for you.

I stayed at Riverside just a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The grounds are lovely, and I genuinely can't stop thinking about the Plant-based Greek Style Pita from Riverside Mill Food Court! French Quarter will always be one of my favorite Disney resorts. I love the theming, and the Mickey beignets from Scat Cat's Club - Cafe are worth a trip there alone! Check out this resort tour video to help get prepared (and excited!) for your upcoming visit. My favorite benefit of these resorts is that you can take a boat to Disney Springs. It's the perfect place to have dinner and do some souvenir shopping.

One more tip: Check out Disney Parks Blog. They always have up-to-date information on what's happening at Walt Disney World. There are even tips on how to get a high score on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin! This attraction got a recent upgrade, and it has become one of my favorites!

I'm so excited for you, Morgan! I hope you'll come back and see us here at planDisney if you have additional questions. We're always happy to help!

    Always dreaming -
