Welcome to planDisney, Adan! I love talking about
Walt Disney World Resort, so let's get to your question!
The
free water park admission on check-in day is one of the best benefits Disney has to offer. I'm glad to hear you are thinking about taking advantage of it! This is a great question, because Disney policies are always subject to change, and they often do. I recently learned that you are indeed able to hop from one water park to another, subject to capacity limits.
There is no transportation between water parks, so if you won't have a vehicle, you may need to take a bus back to your resort and then hop on another headed to your second water park. Your
My Disney Experience App will have helpful information about transportation. Keep an eye on the app or the
Walt Disney World Hours & Events Calendar for updates about park hours.
Each of the water parks is unique, with its own back story and set of attractions.
Typhoon Lagoon is a beachside resort that survived a hurricane. Sort of. It has a laid-back, tropical feel and is home to
one of the largest wave pools in the world! Or you can try out
Crush 'n' Gusher, a coaster-like raft ride for two with both surprises and thrills.
Blizzard Beach is the result of a freak snowstorm in Florida that inspired a ski resort. Of course, it didn't last long, so they had to pivot. The result is a snowy theme with Christmas music playing all year long. My teens love the thrills of
Summit Plummet and
Slush Gusher, but I prefer
Teamboat Springs because we can all ride together.
Adan, I know you are going to have a blast staying cool in the Florida heat! If you have any more questions, I hope you'll come back and see us here at
planDisney. We love helping guests plan their next magical vacation!
