Ahoy, Jennifer!
Thank you for sending in another excellent question about your upcoming cruise. My son was just 18 months old the first time we set sail with Disney Cruise Line, and we took full advantage of the nursery onboard. He loved visiting, and we enjoyed having an opportunity for some much needed adult time. It was a win-win for our entire crew!
Jennifer, I think your plan will work as long as there is availability in
"it's a small world" nursery! during this time. Rates are charged per hour so you may want to be prepared to pay for a two-hour time frame each evening. Also, when making your reservations, please be aware that sailors arriving more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time will result in a cancellation. The dining servers are usually very quick when expediting meals for Mouseketeers, so you shouldn't have a problem getting your little one's food out shortly after you sit down. Just be sure to let your servers know your plan.
I suggest stopping by to "sea" this wonderfully themed space on the first afternoon, Jennifer. You'll be able to explore the area with your sailor and meet the fabulous counselors. It's usually open from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. and then from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. as reservations begin at 5:30 p.m. on the first day.
It was a pleasure assisting you again! Please let us know if we can help you further with your magical plans.
Nancy
