What are your thoughts on MNSSHP? I have 2DS(8&6). Do most kids this age make it through the party? Any tips? Thinking of going to a park that morning until noon, returning to hotel for nap/swim & then going to the party that evening, good plan?

Hi, Tara!  You've got the perfect plan to help make sure those little eyes can stay open for the whole party!  And this is my favorite hard ticket event ever!

We usually make sure the kids have plenty of rest in the afternoon before the party.  We might let them sleep in, then take it easy in the afternoon before having everyone get some rest.  I arrive early for the party, and feed the kids before we do anything else, then they are usually energized and good to go.

If you think you won't make it, do the early parade, but if the kids seem like they are hanging in, the second parade is less crowded.  I also try to put off trick or treating until the kids have done most of the attractions they want to do.  Knowing the trick or treat reward is waiting later in the evening, my kids usually stay pretty wide awake.

I hope you have an absolutely wonderful time on your fall vacation!
