I thought I read somewhere that you can watch the parade at AK while dining at Yak and Yeti. Is this really a possibility or is it better to watch the parade at street level?

Hi, Carol!  You can see the parade from upstairs at a window table in Yak and Yeti.  The parade goes right by the restaurant, and you really have a great view just above the parade at one of these upstairs tables.

Your best bet to snag this birds' eye view is to book a later lunch - around 2:45 or 3 PM.  Make sure to request an upstairs table - and you can let them know you wouldn't mind waiting a few minutes if there isn't one available.

One thing I do want to mention - while the view here is a great one, the sound is not so great.  You can barely hear the parade at all from this vantage point, and that might be a deal breaker.  So while I highly recommend the view, you might want to hit the ground level to really enjoy the full effect.

    Have an awesome time!
