    I thought I read somewhere that to enjoy the Star Wars:Galaxy's Edge we have to reserve Disney Hollywood Studios for our first day. Is this correct? I understand that you make your reservation for the first day, but what about the following days?

    Hey there, Kristen! Or as they say on the planet of Batuu, Bright Suns!

    I have a young Padawan at home whose enthusiasm for all things Star Wars is only matched by my Jedi Master husband, so I am happy to guide you through a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. 

    You may make your reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios for any day that you would like to venture outside the galaxy, be it the first day of your journey, or the last. 

    Kristen, I almost always plan Magic Kingdom as our first park day and have never had any issues getting into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. All that you need to do is to make sure that you have a valid theme park ticket and Disney Park Pass system reservation loaded in your My Disney Experience Account. You must have a Disney Park Pass system reservation in order to enter any of the four theme parks in Walt Disney World Resort, but you may visit them in any order you choose. 

    Before you board your intergalactic transport, you will want to set your alarm phone alarm bright and early to snag a boarding pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This attraction allows you to join the Resistance and battle the First Order and is easily my family's favorite attraction in all four theme parks. Reservations go quickly, so I recommend that you log onto the My Disney Experience Mobile App a few minutes before 7:00 am to snag a spot. If you miss your chance, do not worry! An additional group of recruits is needed at 1:00 pm, so you can sign-up then. 

    Kristen, if you are interested in some exclusive Star Wars merchandise, see if your group would be interested in building a custom droid or heirloom-quality lightsaber at Droid Depot or Savi's Workshop.
