    i thought i read somewhere that i was able to link a credit card to my magicband so we didn't have to bring other forms of payment into the park. am i imagining things? thanks a million!

    Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with your curiouser and curiouser inquiry. Currently, ONLY Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, are able to have charging privileges on their Disney MagicBands. At the time of your Online Check-In, you will be prompted to enter a credit card you would like on file and choose a secure PIN to be used when making purchases. At the end of the day, if you would like an itemized list of the magical damages you have accrued for the day, make your way to the Front Desk of your Walt Disney World Resort. A Cast Member will happily assist and provide you with a printed copy and if you would like to use a different form of payment you can apply the charge at that time. 

    However, Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney Word Resort will need to bring a method of payment for their magical purchases. Now, what is good to note is Guests can enter payment information into their My Disney Experience app under settings. This payment method can be used for ALL Guests when utilizing the Mobile Food and Beverage Orde, at the quick service restaurants for a contactless payment option and for shops participating in Mobile Checkout. Both are convenient and easy to use.
