Although
Disney Dollars are no longer available for purchase, they can still be used at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort and at some Disney Store locations in the United States. At this time, the Disney Gift Card can be used on both land and sea and may be a better option since it's more widely accepted. I'm sure your recipients would greatly appreciate any gift card amount.
I always enjoyed giving out Disney Dollars to my family members, so I was disappointed when they discontinued this magical currency. I've switched over to giving Disney Gift Cards and do enjoy the option to personalize them on the
Disney Gift Card website. They also now offer a
Disney eGift card that can be emailed directly to your recipient. It's a wonderful last minute option!
