I thought that Disney world did fireworks every night, however I just looked at the calendar and fireworks are not listed for the night that we will be there (Friday, October 11, 2013). Am I reading the calendar correctly??!! Will have 3 bummed kid

    Hi Kathy!

On October 11, 2013, the Magic Kingdom will be hosting Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. On these nights, the park closes to day guests at 7pm. This means that there will not be the regular showing of Wishes. Instead, during the party, HalloWishes, the Halloween version of the fireworks, will be shown.

If you are not planning to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you will still have a few options to view some nightly shows:
    • View HalloWishes from a location outside of the Magic Kingdom: The Polynesian beach and the Contemporary are two great places to see the show.
    • Visit Epcot for their nighttime show: Illuminations
    • Take in Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios

Hope this helps! Have fun on your trip! Please let the Moms Panel know if we can help with any more details of your trip. We love to help!
