Thnx 4 ideas about which parks 2 visit- Now what about cheaper eats in MK, AK & HS? Did I hear there's a roast chicken meal for < $10 in 2 + places? We don't eat hotdogs/cured meats (deli) so meals with "real" food is what we are looking f

    Hi Rebecca,

There are some great resources for learning about the food options at Walt Disney World. The independent website allears.net includes a section with the complete menus for every WDW restaurant, with pricing. Another independent site, DisneyFoodBlog.com, has reviews of all the restaurants and photos of most of the food.

You'll find that the less expensive food is found at the quick service restaurants in the parks. And remember that you can always ask for a cup of ice water at no charge. I'll give you my favorite "real food" quick service options at the parks you mentioned. But you should also be sure to check the menus to see what appeals to your palate.

MK: Columbia Harbor House - great hummus sandwich, grilled salmon, and vegetarian chili

AK: Flame Tree BBQ - 1/2 roasted chicken, BBQ chicken salad, smoked turkey breast

DHS: Fairfax Fare - 1/2 chicken, chopped salad

I'm hungry just thinking about it all!
