Thks for all the help. Would like to plan one night to see Christmas Decorations at GF, WL and maybe AKL. Also maybe fit in to see fireworks from Poly beach. Is it possible to do this using Disney transport or would we need to hire a car for the evening?

    Hi Hazel!

I think you are planning a very fun day! I love taking time to view the over the top decorations throughout Disney World!

You should have no trouble using Disney Transportation to visit the resorts you've mentioned.

The easiest way to tour the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge will be to take a bus from the resort you are staying at to the Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive there, hop on the resort monorail. I'd suggest skipping the Contemporary (for now - we'll get there in a minute!) at first, and traveling on to the Grand Floridian.

Once you've toured the Grand Floridian (AND eaten your Gingerbread shingle!), hop back on the Monorail. This time, stop at the Contemporary and tour this resort on your way to the boat dock. Here you can use the boat to travel to the Wilderness Lodge. After you spend some time there, head out to either the boat dock or bus stop and travel back to the Magic Kingdom.

With these resorts toured, you can take the bus from Magic Kingdom to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This might be a great place to enjoy an incredible meal (and refuel!).

After your tour here, hop the bus back to the Magic Kingdom. Then head over to the Polynesian by monorail or boat, and settle in to watch Wishes!

Sounds like a perfect day to me - maybe I need to plan a December trip now too!
