We are thinking about a WDW trip the beginning of June. Is DHS is crowded everywhere during SW Weekends, or just certain areas of the park? We might do a 2nd weekday in DHS where the boys could do Jedi Training, Star Tours. Should we avoid the weekend? Thx

Hi there Elizabeth!  I have attended several Star Wars Weekends in the past, most recently this past May. My family especially loves the Hyperspace Hoopla, Star Wars Character Encounters, and the Stars Wars Celebrity Motorcade. To be perfectly honest, we have always been able to experience all of our favorite normal park attractions while also experiencing some of the special events that are unique to Star Wars Weekends. With that being said, we did not do all of the Star Wars Character Encounters or any Celebrity autograph sessions which can take a great deal of time. During Star Wars Weekends, I have always found the most crowded areas in Disney's Hollywood Studios to be near Star Tours - The Adventures Continue attraction and around Echo Lake where many Star Wars Character Encounters and celebrity autograph sessions are usually located. By arriving at DIsney's Hollywood Studios by park opening and heading straight to the sign-up area for Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy, we were able to sign our boys up for one of the shows and also ride Star Tours  - The Adventures Continue twice. If you would like to experience some of the special activities unique to Star Wars Weekends, then I would plan to visit on the weekend. If you are only interested in your sons riding Star Tours - The Adventures Continue and learning to use the Force in Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy, then I would avoid the weekend and plan your visit on a weekday. If your schedule allows you to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios twice during your vacation, then that may be your best option. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any follow-up questions. Best wishes for a Magical trip, Elizabeth!
    Happy Planning,
