Was thinking of going to WDW during December, Is there any times when it is less busy in the parks?

    Hi Annette,

You'll love a December visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! The decorations are gorgeous and you can just feel the festivity in the air!

The closer you get to Christmas, you'll see the crowds picking up, and the time between Christmas and New Year's Day is very popular. If you'd like to visit when crowds are lower, I'd encourage you to plan your vacation for the first two weeks of December.

There are also some wonderful special events during that time of the year. With low wait times for attractions, complimentary treats, fun Character greeting opportunities, the Holiday Wishes fireworks show, and the magical Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a must-do event! Even in addition to that wonderful event, you'll find special holiday celebrations all around the Resort. My family loves just touring the different Resort hotels to see the breathtaking decorations. We especially love the gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa...it's truly amazing!

Have fun planning your vacation, Annette, and please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a magical vacation!
