We're thinking of watching the Epcot fireworks from the Boardwalk to accommodate my son who doesn't like loud noises. We're staying at AOA. How would we get from Boardwalk to AOA after the fireworks?

    Hello Katherine,

While IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth takes place mainly on the World Showcase Lagoon and around the countries in Epcot, higher fireworks can be observed on the Boardwalk best nearJellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall or the bridge headed towards Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort. When heading back to Disney's Animation of Art Resort, you have a couple of options:
    • a 15-20 minute stroll to Disney's Hollywood Studios (there is a walk path that runs parallel to the water) and board a Disney bus to your resort
    • a boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios and board a bus to your resort
    • board a Disney bus to Disney's Downtown Area and transfer to your Disney resort bus
    • a quick taxi ride to your resort; taxis are readily available at the front of all Walt Disney World Resorts

I hope this helps with your evening and be sure to check out some of the other fun streetmosphere entertainment that happens nightly on the Boardwalk.  If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your stay be filled with many memorable and magical moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
